A little bit about Jean

Jean Mullen, MA, Associate Professional Counselor

I work with individual adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, depression, trauma, life transitions, parenting challenges, emotional regulation, and the search for purpose. My approach is integrated, grounded in trauma-informed care and shaped by Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS).

With over thirty years of experience in the fields of mental health and education, I offer a great deal of life experience, a broad perspective, and a calm presence. My counseling style is supportive, collaborative, and flexible. I am committed to helping people face their challenges, discover where they need to make changes, remind them of the strengths they already possess, and help them find their way forward.

I am committed to providing counseling to those who need it. My fees are $110 per hour, but if this is a barrier for your receiving counseling, please contact me for a sliding scale rate.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, my goofy dog, and being outside, especially on trails in the woods.
